Mauney no more :(
I'm a girl scout

I took Mykenzie to register for brownie scouts last night, no more Daisy's. We found out that she will be able to do a lot of fun stuff this year like camping, being in the Christmas parade and of course selling Girl Scout cookies. I am really looking forward to the cookies :) She will be doing overnight camp this year, which I am excited for and nervous about at the same time. Well there is no way that Travis will let her do overnight camp without one of us there, he isn't going to go obviously, so I will be the one. Well in order to do that you have to become an Adult Girl Scout, so here I am! lol Mykenzie thinks it is quite funny that I am a girl scout too. I am glad there is no ugly uniform for me! hehehe I am so excited to find out that our dues for the year are only $15!! In Daisy's we had to pay $5 a meeting because they aren't allowed to do fund raising. I am thrilled about that, plus the camping and everything they do will not cost us a penny, woo hoo! Of course I have to buy the freaking uniform, which includes a vest, pants, short sleeve shirt, tie, skirt, and long sleeve shirt! And lets not forget about the troop numbers and pins and handbooks. We are talking over $100 for all of it but if you think about it, it really isn't too bad with all she will be doing.
We were thinking of signing her up for Cheerleading too. Registration for that is the 5th. Haven't decided for sure yet. It is $45 for registration and pom poms and then $8.50 a week. I am sure a uniform will be coming after that too. I can't imagine they wouldn't do a uniform. We will see. I have a ton of stuff going on that week for school and stuff. She says she wants to do it but I am sure she would say that about anything I asked her. Given the choice between that and girl scouts though, she chose scouts.
It is booked!!!
I am so excited! I got online yesterday just to check out different hotels and prices and stuff and we were trying to get everything figured out, to get the meal package, or not to, to get the cheaper hotel... ect. We weren't going to book it, just plan, but we got on Expedia to check it out with flights and stuff and to get it through them on our dates the hotels were sold out. I freaked out of course, which then brought Travis to say we should wait till summer, I say still crowded and super hot! I left to get Mykenzie from school and while I was gone he booked it!!! He loves us! :) Sunday, August 27, 2006
Our weekend and other rambles
Yesterday we all ventured out to Jo Ann Fabrics. They had scrapbook paper on sale so I picked some of that up. I am thinking I am going to start doing it again. I talked to Travis about it and we are going to set up a table in our bedroom for me to work on it. That has been one big thing keeping me from doing it. I could only do it at the dining room table which Kaylee can get to very easily and I would have to clean it up everyday so it didn't look awful. I probably wont actually start until after Christmas. I need to buy the table and there are a few inexpensive tools I want to get too before I start. I need to worry about buying other things right now though before I start that. We also went on a great shoe search, who knew it would be so hard to find a pair of tennis shoes for Mykenzie! We finally ended up at Shoe Carnival and Mykenzie walked out with 2 pairs of shoes, yes one was tennis shoes. Kaylee and Travis both got a pair too. We ended our outing with a trip to Applebees, it was sooo good. It could have been because we were starving but we walked out stuffed and happy :)
Now I am done with the weekend. Technically it is only 4:15pm but I have done all I am going to do. I am relaxing the rest of the day... well I have to make dinner and get the kids baths and stuff ready for school but other than that I am done ;-)
We have decided that rather than next October being our date for going to Disney World, that we are going to go for Spring Break. I know it will be much more crowded but Fast Pass is wonderful for that :) I just don't want to plan it and have it ruined by a stupid hurricane. So our date will be March 16th that we will be flying out. It is not booked yet but it will be soon. I can't wait to go back. Kaylee will be about 7 months younger than Mykenzie was when we took her. I am a little nervous she wont like it as much as Mykenzie did but I am gonna pump her with Disney everything from now till then. Maybe that will work. Mykenzie is very excited and I am sure Travis is too because she will be able to ride some of the bigger rides this time. We will have to take turns with that cause I want to ride too :) As long as we have good weather we will have fun. Now to figure out what hotel we will stay at....

I feel better now
Look out Ebay here I come....
At Long Last....
I am wondering what is wrong with little girls these days. Are they born to be mean spirited and hurt people's feelings? I witness some girls being mean to some other kids on the play ground a couple of days ago while I was sitting in car pool line. Then Mykenzie came home from school telling me that a couple of second graders were calling her and some other kids losers. I told her to remember how it hurt her feelings so she doesn't ever do it to someone else and to just stay away from those girls on the playground. According to her they "were sitting on the slide like they owned it and pushing the kids down if they got on it." I told her to find somewhere else to play and she was sad and said " but I like to play on the slide" I told her not to be a tattle tale if someone called her a name like loser, but they don't have any business putting their hands on her, if that continued she needed to tell her teacher. Not that they would do anything about it. I just wish kids weren't so mean to each other, seems like it starts way too young. I remember being that little and doing some of the same stuff though. I just hope Mykenzie isn't mean to other kids. I wish I knew the right thing to tell her on how to deal with it. She does tell them they are not being nice :)

Long Lazy Weekend
Today I have just wanted to get out of the house. I didn't though, we stayed right here except taking and picking Mykenzie up from school. I don't know why I felt the need to go somewhere, I assume it was because I had no where to go, no one to go with and no money to spend. LOL I will be meeting up with friends on Wednesday though and I am looking forward to it. Tomorrow I am gonna clean. I know I should have done it today rather than mope around being bored but where would the fun have been in that?
I am going to Once Upon a Child tomorrow to take a box of fall/winter clothes. They better take most of it if not all and give me some good $$$ for it. I broke my stuff into 4 loads so that I am not overwhelmed and I can make sure I am getting the $$ I want for it. Now I have to go through the girls toys and get rid of some stuff before Christmas when they will no doubt get a TON more. They have so many that they don't even play with. I just hate getting rid of them cause they cost so much money and you hold out hope that maybe they will decide to play with them again. I have stuff in my attic that I want to bring down for Kaylee but I don't want the extra mess. I seriously need to get rid of some stuff!!
Kaylee is in bed napping right now and it's 5:00, so wish me luck getting her to bed on time tonight, I doubt it will happen. I think I better go wake her up

Things to Do Lists

I am one who has to make a list for everything! Things I need to do, things I want to do, things I need to buy, ect. I am a planner by nature, it is in my blood, I have always done it. It gets on Travis' nerves a bit since I literally plan our vacations by the hour. You can pretty much look at my schedule and know where we will be at any given time. I usually run a little late but I stick to it. I have even past said schedules out to family while visiting in Ohio so they would know when we were available to spend time with them. People think I am nuts but it works for me. Well today I discovered a new list. I am going to write down the things I do, as I do them. I don't plan on having this be a long term thing. I am just curious to see how much I do around this house all day that I never get credit for. My list so far has 40 things on it. It is now 4:30 pm. I know that plenty of people do more than I in a days time but I just want to see what I do, figure out if I think it is enough and adjust my life from there. I am pretty proud of my accomplishments, small and mundane as they may be. It made me see that even though I am home all day long I am actually doing something!

I Finally Got It
No word on my stupid car. The people never called back last night so I guess another one bites the dust. Sucks. I guess we will have it for a while longer. Anyone out there in the market for a car??
My windshield is fixed and he didn't try to gouge me! Yay! I am glad cause after my day Friday I probably would have ripped his head off. So it is fixed and looks great. Travis unhooked my battery again so my Check Engine light is off temporarily until it registers again that there is a leak somewhere! It makes me feel better that it is off though, even though I know the most I have is 3 days! I like to be in denial about it.
Let's see if there is anything else you need to know.... Nope. I need to go buy yesterday's paper (kroger sells it for only $1 during the week instead of $1.75 on Sunday) and start cutting coupons and planning my meals and shopping lists. I am really trying to do a good job with this. I hope I can continue, it is alot of work! If grocerygame.com would put Kroger on I would join and let them do it for me!!
I had the pleasure of going to the dentist today, don't be jealous. Just time for my cleaning. I talked to her about my mouth pain and headaches and she chalked it up to TMJ which there is nothing they can really even do anything for. She told me we could do a mouth guard, so I said yes, until I found out my insurance doesn't pay one red cent for it and it is $350. I think I'll pass, especially since we don't even know if it will help. So I suppose I will just continue to be on IB Profin everyday, which will probably eat away my insides. Oh Well! The IB Profin helps with some other medical issues I have. I swear I have as many aches and pains and ailments as a 60 year old man! None of which can be fixed. I just hope I don't pass them on to my girls.
An update on all the school drama
This school situation has been driving me crazy the past few days. Since there was no school yesterday I had to wait until this morning to go to the school and see what the deal is. I still don't fully know how the whole thing is going to play out but I am felling a little bit better. Ideally I would rather her be in a classroom with 19 other kids and her teacher but apparently that isn't going to happen. The real reason behind all of this is that there were too many kindergarteners this year so they had to open a 7th kindergarten class, which meant that Mrs. Watson had to give up her room since it is technically supposed to be a kindergarten room. The 2 classes that they are being split into are in one large room separated by a wall, so essentially Mrs. Watson can stand it the "hall" by the wall and see both rooms. She will be going back and forth to each room for different subjects and they will also have a teacher's aid. I think it will work out ok, I just don't know anything about this new teacher she will also be having. I am hoping we get some more 1st graders registered so they can get a 7th class. It would be in the resource room or they will have to clean out the teachers lounge and get rid of it cause those are the only 2 rooms in the school it could possibly be in. The whole thing is just a mess. Hopefully it works out. I wish I could go and shadow a class one day so I could see what the heck is going on but I suppose I don't really want to be "that" mom. I already am though. I am the only parent that contacted her about this mess. Of course no one else has her email address either since we haven't had our room meeting yet. That will hopefully shed some light on things too. I was not the only mom who waited in the hall with them today to walk to the new room to find out where it is so that made me feel a little better. I am trusting my child's life and education to these people though so I have the right to be in their faces about it I think! I have heard some really bad things today about the middle school that we are zoned for so I really hope there is a new one before we have to deal with it or we have moved by the time that comes.Monday, August 14, 2006
Cross your fingers for us!

We have been trying to get rid of our Grand Am for a LONG time now. Well not really but it seems like it. I think we finally got it for sale online in June and we were getting NO calls or emails about it. This after waiting for 6 months for the lien holder to get their act together and send us the title and ending up having to just buy a new one from SC DMV! It has 106,000 miles on it cause it was Travis' car and he had to drive it alot for work. Then it became my car because he got the Jeep. Well now (and for the past 2 years) he has a company car and this one has been sitting in our garage undriven. We are paying for it every month as well as the insurance all for it to sit in the garage. Well, I have had calls 2 days in a row about it! I just got one and hopefully they bite on it. Oh my goodness to have that thing paid off and not have the insurance anymore would be wonderful! I would love to sell it so much. Cross your fingers that this is finally the time that we can say good bye to the Grand Am!

Great Weekend!

It seems like it has been forever since we have had any "quality" family time. Travis was gone, then I was gone and then he was gone and gone and gone. This weekend we have actually gotten to spend time together.
My morning yesterday started with some disappointment, we tried to get tickets to see Rascal Flatts but we were getting awful seats. The best we had were section 107 which wouldn't have been horrible seats but still not where we wanted to be for that price. Last year tickets were about $25 cheaper and we were right on the floor. We gave those up and then we were getting section 300's, NO WAY! We were not paying $70 to hang from the ceiling. It would have been fun but that's ok. Maybe we will try again next year and get good seats then. I will just have to settle for listening to my 4 CD's. Just think it saved me $70+.
After that whole drama, I decided that we needed to get out of the house, at first I was thinking the zoo but then remembered that the county fair was going on. We all got ready and headed out.http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8AcuWTNo2bNGeg The girls had so much fun. They have a kids farm, where they went to different stations and did things that are done on a farm. One was feed the chickens, plant a seed, milk a cow ect. At each station you got something to "sell" at the farmers market. An egg from the chicken, veggies
from the garden, a pint of milk from the cow, ect. Then they took the stuff to the farmers market where they got "money" and got to go buy an ice cream with it. They loved doing it and were very pleasantly surprised that they got ice cream at the end! Then we went to the little petting zoo, where Kaylee spent 10 minutes laughing at the "funny sheep!"
She also finally says horse without me telling her too, before it was a "neigh" now it is a "harse" LOL I love it when little kids learn to talk!
We ended the trip with some rides, Mykenzie loved them until she went on the spider thing with Travis. That one she did not care for! I was too afraid Kaylee would freak out so she only rode the merry go round and she rode the cars with Mykenzie.
We came home and had dinner and dessert and relaxed. The girls rough housed with Travis for a little while and then it was bed time.
Today we spent the morning outside, the kids played while we did some yard work. My flowerbeds were horribly overgrown with weeds. It has been way to hot to mess with them! Today it is overcast and quite nice out there. Now Travis and Kaylee are taking a nap, then I am sure we will head back outside for a little swingset time. Then it is dinner, baths, bed for the kids and Grey's Anatomy for me! I love that show!

Too Good To Be True!

I can't wait until the new school on this side of town is finished! I am really starting to dislike this school and it is only the 2nd day. Last year I loved it and had absolutely no problems, this year it is like they all took stupid pills and no one knows what the hell is going on. Mrs. Watson informed me today that she will be losing her classroom. So they are going to move to the 1st grade cluster (what ever that means) and her class will be split between 2 other teachers class rooms. They will be "Team Teaching". That is she and the 2 other teachers apparently will be rotating rooms? I HAVE NO CLUE! I do not understand this at all! Now, they are doing this because of the high number of students in first grade. So my question is if there are too many kids how will combining classes make it better? I am pretty upset about the whole thing right now, maybe when I understand it more I will feel better about it but right now I feel like it is a stupid idea and I am pretty mad. Anyone else had this sort of issue with team teaching that can fill me in on what the hell it actually entails? She told me that they will all 3 be Mykenzie's teacher but she will remain on her role and listed as her students. It sounds to me like they just doubled these 2 classes sizes and she gets to be the assistant to the teachers. To me this sounds like a pretty raw deal for these kids, and mine is one of them which really pisses me off.
THEN, you should see the pick up disaster they have going for dismissal! Holy crap! I thought is was bad yesterday so I left early so I could be at the front of the line, I was 2nd in line in one of the left lane. I COULD NOT GET OUT! After having Mykenzie in my car for at least 5 minutes one of the teachers had to have people move their cars so I could get out. It is insanity! I want to park across the street and walk up to get her and I very well may start doing it. I cant imagine that after all the years of this school being there that they would not have an organized way for picking them up. I have been over there for 2 days now I have a solution! 2 lanes, certain teachers for certain lanes there is a space on the right and a space on the left so when you get your kid you can go into the OPEN space to get out. HOW HARD IS THAT PEOPLE!!! I must be PMSing because I am highly bitchy and emotional today. I got in 2 fights with credit card companies and spoke to supervisors this morning and now this. I am ready to call the principal but I am trying to breathe and see if things with pick up get better next week and I am waiting to talk to the principal about the classrooms till I understand it a little better. Now I am waiting for the guy to come and fix my windshield, why do I have a feeling he is gonna try and charge me more than my estimate? People suck today!

First day of Kindergarten

Getting up and getting out the door by 7:30 today was much easier than I anticipated. We were all ready to head out the door by 7:15! We ended up getting there way too early and had to stand outside for awhile but there were a ton of other people waiting too, I guess everyone was excited for the first day of school. I was talking with some of the moms and it seems like most of the people didn't know who their kids teacher was until today. I know that most of the grades had an open house yesterday though so I guess they should have gone to it.
Only 2 kids are in her class from last year, one of which I really like so I am glad to see her. Mykenzie liked playing with her and she is a very sweet little girl, just the type I want her to be friends with. I really believe that who you are friends with shapes how you are and who you become. I prefer a sweet little girl that stays out of trouble! I think we are going to have another great school year. I still can't believe that she is in the first grade already, she is such a big girl!

YAY! She Got Mrs. Watson!!

Mykenzie's kindergarten teacher from last year is moving to 1st grade this year. I knew it was a possibility but didn't find out until Friday that it was a sure thing. Well by the time Monday came along it was too late to request her for this year so we just hoped for the best. Well I just got an email from her and she told me that "luck of the draw" put Mykenzie in her class again this year! I am so thrilled. After having a preschool teacher who didn't care to much for Mykenzie and categorized her as the "bad" kid and then last year having Mrs. Watson who loved her, it was just such a big difference. It was better for her and it was better for me too. I was worried she would end up with a repeat of preschool but I don't have to worry about it anymore! WHEW! I can't tell you how relieved I am right now!
The Good and Bad
r is tomorrow. We are crossing our fingers for Mrs. Watson but if we don't get her I just hope she gets someone good. I can't believe that school starts on Thursday already, the summer has flown by. I am definitely ready for fall though. I am excited to go to the pumpkin patch and for Halloween parties. I love that time of year, not to mention the cooler weather, I am sick of this heat! I also went to a candle party at Barbara's yesterday that my friend Heather was hosting. We had a really good time hanging o
ut, eating yummy food and smelling great candles. Here is a link for the candles, they are great... http://www7.mygccandle.com/Default.aspx?alias=www7.mygccandle.com/breathofheavenI spent a little more than I planned but I will be very happy when I get my candles! Plus it was the last time I will get to see Heather since she is moving to Maine next week. We will definatley miss her and all of her humor. Thank goodness for computers :)
I ordered tickets to take Mykenzie to see Disney on Ice "Princess Wishes" in September. I really think she will LOVE it. We got front row seats so hopefully I will get some good pictures and Mykenzie can get up close and personal with the princesses! It will be nice to have a little time with just Mykenize we haven't done that in a while.
Today I took the girls to play with Jenna's girls and then we all went to see Barnyard. Mykenzie really liked it and thought it was pretty funny. I thought it was funny too, not the best kids movie I've ever seen but it was funny. Warning though if your kids are sensitive there is death in the movie, it's not a scene from the Lion King but it is still sad.

My sucky news is that my stupid check engine light is back on, so I guess it was not the gas cap. From what the Auto Zone guy said it is a small leak somewhere so I am not freaking out about it but it still sucks. Also when I was driving to Barbara's yesterday a rock flew up and hit my windshield and cracked it. Now I have to shell out $200 for a new one. They are coming to my house on Friday to fix it. Sucks.
I finally got ahold of the detective in charge of my credit card theft case and made an appointment with him tomorrow morning. So my day will be awfully full tomorrow, I have to meet with the detective in the morning, the girls both have check ups in the afternoon and as soon as we are done with that I have to go to the school for the 1st grade open house to see Mykenzie's new class room and meet her teacher. I am so excited about this because I was a little freaked that I didn't even know where the 1st grade rooms are! I am so glad I don't have to try and figure it out on the 1st day of school. I have to remember to get her school supplies ready cause I am supposed to take them with me tomorrow.
Travis is gone to Las Vegas right now for some work seminar so he will miss Mykenzie's first day of school again. He left on Sunday but he will be back on Thursday night, then hopefully he'll be home for a while.
My plans for tonight include a lot of very fun chores, such as laundry, dusting, cleaning and scrubbing. I know everyone has to do it, and I am sure that you'll all agree IT SUCKS! I better get to it though or I'll be up awfully late tonight.

My Sweet Baby is TWO!

In the blink of an eye my baby has grown into a toddler. I can't believe how quickly time passes when you have children, it really seems like they grow up overnight. No matter how old they get you still see them as your sweet newborn laying in your arms in your hospital bed.
Kaylee's birth announcement picture
My big girl had a great birthday! We woke up and opened most of her presents. She got a little tired of it and wanted to play halfway through so we let her wait till later for the rest. She loves her Dora Quad, or her bike as she calls it. Then after playing for a little while we got ready and went to Chupie Cheese (more Kaylee talk). She loves going there and playing and was so excited. All week when we told her it was almost her birthday she would say "party, go chupie cheese!" Then we came home played outside then we had her Dora cake and ice cream, which turned her blue so it was into the tub. She got to play for a little while longer but then she had to go to bed. She is so cute trying to hold up two fingers to show she is 2, she concentrates really hard but just can't quite get it. One other new thing that she does when you ask her what her name is she points to herself and she'll start to say Kaylee but stops herself and says "Spot" I have no idea why but it is too funny and she knows it. She is gonna be our little comedian. Happy Birthday Sweet baby girl!
Here is a link for some birthday photos.

Rascal Flatts at the GEC!

I am a bit obsessive when it comes to Rascal Flatts, not to the point where I know where they live and I am stalking them, but I love their music and have all the CD's, lost them and replaced them right away. I went to there concert last year with my friends Jenna and Barbara and they were GREAT! Well girls get out your money cause they are coming back! In my sleepy haze I heard them mention it on the 10 o'clock news, I got up this morning and confirmed it! They will be here on September 22 at 8pm! I will be in the crowd somewhere even if I have to go alone, which would suck, so my friends need to take pity and come with me! Tickets go on sale a week from tomorrow and I will be ready. Stupid ticketmaster has an issue with my computer for some reason and wont let me get into it so hopefully it gets over it long enough to let me order. I CAN"T WAIT!!!! Girls are ya with me?!?!?!? This time I will have my camera with me!!! For all of you who don't know who I am talking about, GO BUY THEIR ALBUM! You will LOVE it!
I'm Done!!!

You will not catch me in another store for at least a week! I am completely shopped out! After all of our grocery shopping Tuesday and Thursday, today we were out from 8:30am till 5:30pm. Well today was payday and I had ALOT to pick up! I needed to get all of Mykenzie's school supplies since she starts 1st grade on Thursday and the list is LONG. Plus Kaylee's 2nd birthday is tomorrow and I had nothing for her. I started at Walmart, got almost all of Kenzie's supplies there, hit Target for a Bath tub toy I wanted for Kaylee's bday, Dora and very cute, and the remaining supplies. While I was there I also got a box of Pull Ups, 58 count, for $13! She isn't in them yet but she will hopefully be soon. I am on my last box of diapers and then I am done buying them. After that and running very late, I met Jenna and her girls at the Mills, which was busy but not as bad as I thought it would be with it being tax free weekend and all. I found nothing to buy there other than a few things at the Disney Store Outlet, some pretty good deal actually. But it was fun and nice to shop with a friend always!! After that I had to come home and empty out my trunk so I could go to Kmart and get Kaylee her Dora Quad! It is so cute and I hope she loves it as much as she does in my mind! LOL Here is a link if you want to see it.(http://www.fisher-price.com/us/powerwheels/product.asp?id=35209)

We got caught in a HORRIBLE rain storm while we were there so I tried to walk around for a little bit but there is only so much time I can spend in Kmart these days. Too many days of having to shop there now I just would rather not set foot in one unless I have too. Plus I ended up finding Kenzie a backpack there for only $6.99, really glad I put my foot down on the $20 one at the Disney store! Anyhow, we left in the pouring rain, while everyone else stood in the doorway hoping it would stop, we made a run for it, got soaked but we dried by the time we got to Toys R Us, where I finished my bday shopping for Kaylee. Of course then I realized I had no wrapping paper so I had to swing by Big Lots and pick that up, and I also found the last thing on Mykenzie's school supply list there! YAY! So I got all of Kaylee's birthday gifts, and all of Mykenzie's school supplies! Now I am just gonna sit back and enjoy Kaylee's day and the rest of the days of summer break. I will probably be visiting the Discovery Center this week if anyone is interested. I think I have learned my lesson not to wait till the last minute to get this stuff done so we don't have to have another cram day like today. My kids were pretty well behaved though and hanging out in the middle of the day with Jenna helped calm the chaos.

How's this for oral hygiene???
ALSO, Kroger has Crest toothpaste 10 for $10, which means $1 a tube, I had 2 coupons for $1 off 2 tubes and 2 coupons for $1 off 1 tube. I got 6 tubes of Crest toothpaste for (drumroll please) $2 plus tax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is about .35 cents a tube! It is the little things in life that excite me people and knowing I have a butt load of toothpaste that I got dirt cheap is one of those things that excites me for sure
The sun is shining

Yeah Baby! I finally had a stroke.... of LUCK! I took my car to Auto Zone so they could tell me why my stupid check engine light was on (Thank you Jenna for saving me a $70 diagnostic) and it was the stupid gas tank cap, I bought a new one (though I probably didn't really need a new one) but now we are good to go!!! Thank God!
I finally finished my grocery shopping today! WOO HOO! I hit Publix and A
ldi on Tuesday and BiLo, Food Lion and Kroger today! I went about $10 over what I wanted to but I have a TON of food! My cupboards were bare I'm afraid. I hadn't "really" grocery shopped in over a month. I was just going and picking up little things here and there that we needed. Well this time we needed everything! I am so excited! My lazy susan cabinet is STUFFED full, and so is my freezer! I ordered Kaylee's birthday cake at BiLo, I hope it tastes good, if not at least it will be CUTE! I love it and cant wait to see it finished. And here is the kicker, my kids were actually well behaved in ALL THREE STORES! Kaylee was fussy while we were checking out at Kroger but that is understandable after 3 stores and 2.5 hours she was done. Plus it was naptime! I got to come home put her to bed and put my groceries away in peace. AHHH What a difference a day can make!! Now I have to tackle my laundry go check out who is running for what so I can hit the voting polls when Travis gets home tonight. I have no idea what we are even supposed to be voting on, thanks to Roxy I have the links to find out :) Better go find my voter registration card. Now if my stupid poison ivy would go away so I could wear shorts in the 100 degree weather it would really make my day!

A call from my sister
I am not the only one. My sweet little niece Abby fell off the couch yesterday so my sister had her first mommy scare. Abby is fine though and so is her mommy.I guess I just needed a little sister chat to pick me up. Not that I am not feeling sorry for myself still but I am in a better mood now.
Woe is Me
I am definitely having a feeling sorry for myself kind of day. It seems like we just cant catch a break lately! July has sucked and now we are into August and it isn't going any better. We have had issues with moving, are gonna go, are we gonna stay??? Lost Kaylee in the woods! Then there were ticks and fevers and infections and poison ivy! Oh lets not forget the identity theft!!!Travis getting stranded in Chicago and having to spend a TON of money on new clothes to get through. His car is in the shop, we got it back and it had to take it back in (the silver lining here is that it is his work car, so we don't have to pay) Now my stupid check engine light is on!!! And I just dropped about 2 grand in this stupid car I don't want and now this! Add all this stuff together in a 2.5 week span plus attitude from my 6 year old about everything and whining from my almost 2 year old about everything and it makes for some stress!!! Everyone has problems and I understand it is life, but I am ready for a BREAK!!!!
